We can produce a wide variety of custom horse stall and barn solutions using our basic manufacturing skills and capabilities. Our capabilities range from fencing to platforms to various racks and dollies.

Stall Building Specifications

Triton Modular Horse Stall buildings are designed to allow the user to construct different configurations of stall buildings with stall sizes ranging from 10’x 10′- 10′ x 12′ – 12′ x 12′ or 12′ x 10′. In addition you can utilize stall panels to set-up wash bays, feed rooms and tack rooms within the stall building structure. Stall panels are available in solid and vented top. The customer can choose from 2″ x 6″ T&G lumber or composite Sheet to fill in the panels.

Stall buildings can be set-up and later taken down to allow for moving.

Due to the unique design of the trusses and posts, buildings can be set-up in the following styles:

  • 1-place (Single shed rows)
  • 2-place (back to back stalls with doors on outside of building)
  • 3-place (opposing stalls with center aisle)
  • 5-place ( 2-rows of back to back stalls with 1 center aisle) doors on stalls open
  • 6-place ( 2-single rows one on each side of building and 2-back to back stalls in center) doors on stalls open to inside aisle ways.

Construction:

  • Post are 2″ x 2″ x 14 ga. square ASTM-A-513.
  • Post bottoms are .187 (3/16″) x 1 ” ASTM A-36
  • Post to attachment plates are .187 (3/16″) x 2″ ASTM A-36
  • Trusses are 2″ x 4″ rectangle tube 14 ga. square ASTM-A-513.
  • Truss to purlin brackets are made from ASTM A-1011 Commercial Steel.
  • Purlins are made from Galvanized 16 ga. ASTM-A-653 Commercial Steel.
  • The purlins are connected to the trusses using (2) # 12 x ” TEK screws
  • Top truss plate is made from .187 (3/16″) x 5″ X 8″ plate ASTM A-36.
  • All bolts are 3/8″ x 3″ carriage bolts Hot Dip Galvanized by grade 5.
  • Panel connector brackets are.187 (3/16″) x 1 ” ASTM A-36
  • Hot Dip Galvanizing is ASTM A-123.

All materials is made in the United States of America. The labor to produce the stalls and buildings is performed in Ft Worth, TX. and the galvanizing is done by in accordance with ASTM specification A-123.

Metal roofing and sheeting, range from 24 to 29 ga. (depending on customer demand and geographical location), with a tensile strength 80,000 psi. Galvanized or painted panels are available in a choice of colors. Material conforms to ASTM A-653 and A-792, Grade 80.

Due to the myriad of colors and styles available I recommend the customer select roofing and siding from a local vendor. This allows them to match existing colors, trims and of other buildings in their area.

Modular Horse Stall Technical Specifications

Triton Modular Stalls are designed to allow the user the maximum freedom to set-up different stall configurations while maintaining lowest possible cost. The panels are made to accept 2″ thick lumber,” plywood or Composite Plate materials.

All panels, connectors and hardware are Hot Dip galvanized after fabrication which provides the longest lasting finish in the business. All tubing is minimum 50,000 psi yield.

Triton Stall Products are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period (10) years from the date of purchase. (See Attached warranty and disclaimers)

Construction:

HS10S – 10′ Solid stall front frame and stall side frame.
Panel size 116.5″ long x 87″ high. End channels and center channels are made from 12 gauge sheet (.105) thickness and are formed to allow insertion of 2″ lumber.

For 12′ stall frame, length is 140.5 inches.
Center channels are welded back to back to form a center column specifically designed to give added strength to the panel and the columns are notched to allow insertion of wood. Top and bottom tubes are made from 1″x 16 gauge square Tube.

HS10SD – 10′ Front Panel with Sliding door.
Panel size 116″ long x 87″ high. For 12′ stalls, 140 1/2 length. Top, Bottom and door frame ends are constructed using 1″ x 16 gauge square tube. All tubes are punched with 7/16″ round holes to allow assembly of grilles, door track, door stops and door guide. End channels and center door channel are made from12 gauge sheet (.105) thickness and are formed to allow insertion of 2″ lumber. Front grille is 38″ high and is constructed using 12 gauge channel on the bottom with 7/16″ drainage holes for galvanizing. The bottom channel mounts over the top board creating a “cribbing channel”. Vertical tubes are 1″ x 16 gauge round tubes spaced 4″ on center. Top mounting strap is 3/16″ x 1″ flat bar with 7/16″ drainage holes for galvanizing and 7/16″ x 1″ slots for mounting grille in frame.

The door channel has a 7/16″ round hole located 45″ up from the bottom which is used mount the Door Latch. The latch plate HSLP is manufactured using 3/8″ x 2″ steel with (1) 7/16″ round hole and 1/2″ radius corners. The latch is attached to the frame channel by using (1) HSDB Latch bracket, (1) 3/8″ x 3″ Carriage bolt, (2) 3/8 flat washers and (1) 3/8″ Nylock nut.

Sliding Door
Door track is specifically designed to create a self-cleaning track system. The door is constructed using 1″ x 16 gauge square tube on the top with (2) 9/16″ round holes for mounting assembled door and trolleys. Side channels are made from12 gauge sheet (.105) thickness and are formed to allow insertion of 2″ lumber. The bottom of the frame is made from 3/16″ x 2″ x 2″ formed angle.

Front grille is 33″ high and is constructed using 12 gauge channel on the bottom with 7/16″ drainage holes for galvanizing. The bottom channel mounts over the top board creating a “cribbing channel”. Vertical tubes are 7/8″ x 16 ga round tubes spaced 4″ on center. Top mounting strap is 3/16″ x 1″ flat bar with 7/16″ drainage holes for galvanizing and 9/16″ x 1″ slots for mounting.

The door has (2) Door stops made from 3/16″ x 1″ flat bar specially formed to pull the door tight to the front when fully open or in the closed position. The door stops have a 7/16″ x 1″ slot on the mounting end to allow height adjustment during installation. Each sliding door comes with a Door Guide which is specially designed to keep the door captured at “all” times.

HS10V – 10′ Vented stall panel for wood
Panel size 116″ long x 87″ high. End channels and center channels are made from12 gauge sheet (.105) thickness and are formed to allow insertion of 2″ lumber. Center channels are welded back to back to form a center column specifically designed to give added strength to the panel and the columns are notched to allow insertion of 2″ x 6″wood. Top and bottom tubes are made from 1″x 16 gauge square Tube. The top tube have (4) 7/16″ round holes used to mount the Grilles.

Vented panel require (2) grilles which are 38″ high and is constructed using 12 gauge channel on the bottom with 7/16″ drainage holes for galvanizing. The bottom channel mounts over the top board creating a “cribbing channel”. Vertical tubes are 1″ x 16 ga round tubes spaced 4″ on center. Top mounting strap is 3/16″ x 1″ flat bar with 7/16″ drainage holes for galvanizing and 7/16″ x 1″ slots for mounting. Grilles are mounted in place using 3/8″ x 2″ carriage bolts and 3/8″ hex nuts.

Connectors
Stall Panels are connected in different patterns by using, Wall Connector brackets, 2-way corner connector, 3- way and 4- way connectors. Connector brackets are manufactured using 3/16″ x 1″ flat bar formed to create the aforementioned connectors.

Composite Plate
Composite plate inserts are made of (2) sheets of .030 thick 80,000 yield galvanized steel sheet bonded to polyethylene-plastic center creating an extremely strong laminate material. Material approximately 7/16″ thick.

Composite Plate Connectors
Composite plate is mounted into the same panels as described above using composite “U” clips. The clips allow the composite plate to be installed without any exposed bolts and installation does not require any special tools to install.

Optional Fully Vented Sliding door
The fully vented door has 6 gauge wire mesh welded in place covering the entire height and width of the door. This door is designed to be used where maximum ventilation is needed. Sides of the door is 1″ x 16 gauge square tube instead of the 12 gauge channels.

The door is mounted and latched in the same manner as the standard door. (Opening space of the wire is specified by the purchaser. 2″ x 2″ is typical)
